Follow the A171 towards Scarborough. When entering Burniston turn right onto Limestone Road (signposted Hackness, Harwood Dale) and continue forward onto Coomboots Brow then bear left onto Limestone Road. After 250yds turn left onto Swang Road, bear right onto Suffield Hill, go straight ahead passed the Hackness Grange Hotel, continue for approximately 1 mile and turn left into Estell Lane, the first building you come to on your right is Hilla Green Farm and Granary Cottage is on the farm, the first building on your left.

Follow the A170 towards Scarborough. After 40 miles you enter the village of West Ayton, proceed over the stone bridge then turn left onto Castlegate (signposted Forge Valley, Hackness) continue for two miles and then bear left onto Mowthorp Road. After two miles you reach Hackness village turn left onto Broxa Lane passing Hackness Grange Hotel on the left after approximately 1 mile turn left into Estell Lane, the first building you come to on your right is Hilla Green Farm and Granary Cottage is on the farm, the first building on your left.

Follow the A64 towards Scarborough. Pass through Rillington Village and over small bridge then take first left (signposted Yedingham and Snainton). At Snainton turn right and join the A170 towards Scarborough, after 5 miles at East Ayton turn left onto Castlegate (signposted Forge Valley, Hackness) continue for two miles and then bear left onto Mowthorp Road. After two miles you reach Hackness village turn left onto Broxa Lane passing Hackness Grange Hotel on the left after approximately 1 mile turn left into Estell Lane, the first building you come to on your right is Hilla Green Farm and Granary Cottage is on the farm, the first building on your left.

Follow signs for Scarborough, then follow signs for A170 Thirsk. As you enter Main Street, East Ayton turn right onto Castlegate (signposted Forge Valley, Hackness) continue for two miles and then bear left onto Mowthorp Road.
