Otter Lodge

Rosehaugh Estate, Near Inverness, Ross-shire

Otter Lodge is set within the peaceful Rosehaugh Estate on Scotland’s stunning Black Isle. This is a secluded countryside retreat surrounded by woodland, coastal scenery, and abundant wildlife – and just a short drive from Inverness. Beautifully renovated to provide a warm and comfortable stay, it’s the perfect base for exploring the Highlands, watching wildlife, walking coastal paths, or simply switching off in tranquil surroundings.

"Such a beautiful, unique cottage in a fantastic place. So tranquil. My husband and I were completely frazzled when we went on holiday, we totally recharged whilst we were there. Within easy reach of anything you want and only an hours drive to Ullapool and the west coast. It was our fifth visit to Rosehaugh, I hope we make it back many more times. If you go and you like seafood try the Kishorn Seafood Bar out near Applecross, a small wooden shed with the best food and most fantastic view!"

"The isolation, the walks, the care of the team on site, distant from large hoards but close enough if needed. It's just a fantastic place for renewing body mind and spirit. Beautiful welcome tray."

"It was another fantastic holiday on the Black Isle and so good to be back . We have booked another two holidays at Otter Lodge, so that probably speaks for itself. We had one problem while we were there and it was very quickly sorted. Thank you so much. See you in the Autumn."

"What a perfect place. It has a real wow factor on so many levels, from the 25ft vaulted ceiling to bedding by the White Company. The little terrace is a real sun trap. The weather was so nice when we were here that we had to buy a sun brolly! Highly recommended, we WILL be back."

Cancellation Policy
The Holidaymaker is liable for the total hire charge unless written notice of the intention to cancel the booking is received at least eight weeks prior to the commencement of the holiday. The deposit paid to confirm the booking, and other monies paid, will only be refunded if the Owner is able to re-let the holiday cottage for the period of the holiday let. In the event of re-letting, the Owner will retain the sum of 100GBP to cover administrative costs and (subject to deduction of that sum) refund to the Holidaymaker the balance of monies received from the Holidaymaker, or the sum received from re-letting whichever sum shall be the lower. Every effort will be made to re-let a cancelled booking, but the Holidaymaker is advised to take out holiday insurance to cover that eventuality.
